      Student Tours to Israel - Market

      Day 1: Airport - Jerusalem

      Late morning - arrive in Israel and be welcomed by the WeRIsrael representative.
      Drive to Jerusalem.
      Stop on the way for a barbecue lunch in Ben Shemen forest. In Israel, we call this 'al ha-esh', which literally means 'on the fire'. You will be amazed by the variety of dishes Israel has to offer! Let's see who will be brave enough to try our very spicy ‘schug’ dressing….
      Continue to Jerusalem.
      Drive to your hotel and rest before dinner.
      Experience a traditional Shabbat dinner with a hosting family. Taste traditional food, sing along with your friends, and just enjoy!
      Overnight: Jerusalem

      Student Tours to Israel - Church

      Day 2: Jerusalem

      Start your morning with a tour of the Old City of Jerusalem.
      Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Walk down the Mount and see the old Jewish cemetery, and then continue to the Garden of Gethsemane.
      Visit the Pools of Bethesda at the St. Anne's Church.
      Continue along the Via Dolorosa, Lithostrotos, and Ecce Homo Arch, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
      Visit Mount Zion, including the Tomb of David and the Room of the Last Supper.
      Walk through the Jewish Quarter to see the Western Wall, and the "Cardo Maximus", a Roman street.
      Evening – dinner and then sit in front of the old walls of the old city and watch a fabulous sound and light show at the Tower of David.
      Overnight: Jerusalem

      Day 3: Jerusalem

      This morning you will visit one of the most important museums in Israel – Yad Vashem, which literally means 'a monument and a name'. Yad Vashem is a remembrance center for the Holocaust and World War II. Take your time to reflect and listen while you stroll down the corridors of this unique museum.
      At noon, arrive at Machane Yehuda, the famous market of Jerusalem for a tasting tour! Visit the different stands and discover the unique and fascinating stories behind the people who work there. Experience the market through the stories, the people, the smells, and the atmosphere.
      Take some time to shop in the market. Ask your guide which is the best shop to buy spices to take home!
      *If time permits – visit the VR Innovation Lab of the Tower of David. Experience a combination of the unique and fascinating history of Jerusalem together with innovative technology and creativity.
      Possible evening tour in the Western Wall tunnels.

      Day 4: Dead Sea - Massada

      Drive to the Dead Sea area and enjoy beautiful views of the Judean Desert.
      Visit Ein Gedi desert oasis with David’s Waterfall and recall the story of David trying to hide from King Saul. Jump into the cool lovely water!
      Drive to the Masada Fortress. Climb the mountain by foot. You will be so proud of yourself when you get to the top! Be amazed by the incredible view that awaits you. TTake a walking tour around the fortress and learn why the site became a symbol of Jewish heroism.
      Continue on to the Dead Sea shore – float in the water and cover yourself with natural mud!
      Towards evening, experience a short camel ride.

      Student Tours to Israel - Sea of Galilee

      Day 5: Galilee

      Drive to the north of Israel.
      Participate in a joint co-existence sport/dance activity with Arab and Jewish youth and eat lunch together.
      Spend the afternoon experiencing the fun water sports the Sea of Galilee has to offer!
      Check into the hotel and freshen up.
      Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee during sunset on the Jesus Boat, which resembles a boat from ancient times. Music activity on the boat – party or drum circle.
      Overnight: Kibbutz, Sea of Galilee area

      Student Tours to Israel - Tabgha

      Day 6: Sea of Galilee

      Start the day on the Mount of Beatitudes to recall the Sermon on the Mount. Go down by foot (optional) to the shore, enjoy the view and recall some of Jesus's most famous parables, which were probably inspired by these surrounding. Visit Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of bread and fish and see the outstanding Byzantine mosaic floor of the Church of Multiplications and the Mensa Christi Church.
      Continue to Capernaum to see the town that Jesus chose as his home. Visit the recently excavated site of Magdala where a 1st century synagogue was discovered.
      Pick fruit and vegetables for families in need – Agriculture has always been one of the pillars that Israel stands on. We grow most of our fruit and vegetables ourselves using unique technologies and with a passion for the land. Today, you will experience working as a farmer and pick fruit and vegetables for families in need.

      Day 7: Golan Heights

      Visit the Mount Bental lookout towards Syria, Lebanon, and the Golan Heights, and hear the famous stories of the 1948 War of Independence. Climb to the highest point to get an amazing view of the whole area.
      Experience a jeep tour through the beautiful Golan Heights.
      Finish your day with a chocolate workshop in Kibbutz Degania, and hear about the concept of kibbutzim in Israel.

      Student Tours to Israel - Nazareth

      Day 8: Plant a tree - Nazareth

      Spend the morning hiking in the Arbel mountain with an amazing view of Mount Hermon. Visit the ruins of the Jewish settlement from the 4th century.
      Drive to Golani Junction and “Plant a Tree in Israel” through the KKL - Keren Kayemeth LeYisrael – Jewish National Fund.
      Drive to Nazareth. Visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Church, and Mary’s Well - the only source of water in ancient Nazareth.
      Overnight: Kibbutz, Sea of Galilee area

      Student Tours to Israel - Caesaria

      Day 9: Caesarea – Tel Aviv

      Start the day by driving along the shoreline to Caesarea. See the remains of the once magnificent port built by Herod the Great as well as the ancient theater and the hippodrome. See the site where Paul appeared before Festus and King Agrippa before he was sent to Rome, and simply enjoy the air and the view of the Mediterranean Sea.
      Drive to Tel Aviv
      Visit Save a Child's Heart center (SACH). SACH is an Israeli-based international non-profit organization and recent recipient of the prestigious United Nations Population Award. SACH mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children in developing countries and creating centers of competence in these countries. SACH's goal is to improve the health and welfare of all children, regardless of the child's nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation.
      Overnight: Tel Aviv

      Day 10: Tel Aviv

      This morning you will visit a very special place – 'Dialogue in the Dark'. During this unique tour, you will experience the daily life of a blind person. Get ready for one of the most meaningful experiences you will ever have.
      The rest of the day will be dedicated to the innovative side of Israel or in other words – why is Israel a ‘Start-up Nation'?
      First thing, you will visit Taglit Innovation Center, where you will get the chance to see some of Israel's greatest inventions in an interactive way!
      In the afternoon, you will visit a start-up company that develops innovative drones.
      Picnic dinner with Israeli friends.

      Student Tours to Israel -  Jaffa

      Day 11: Kibbutz Netiv Haasara - Jaffa

      Drive to Kibbutz Netiv Haasara where you will walk along the 'Path of Peace' and meet local residents.
      Drive back to Tel Aviv-Jaffa for sightseeing.
      Visit Old Jaffa with its ancient port as well as the traditional house of Simon the Tanner where Peter had a vision.
      Walk along the cobbled streets of Jaffa, check out the small artists' shops and studios, and feel like you are walking in a unique Middle Eastern city.
      Overnight: Tel Aviv

      Day 12: Departure

      Drive to the airport
