      It is an unforgettable experience for Christians from all over in the world to visit Israel.

      During our pilgrim tours, you can walk in the footsteps of Jesus, pray and attend mass in churches in Bethlehem and Jerusalem, enjoy magical scenery, and much more.

       
      Orthodox Group Tours to Israel - Jerusalem 1

      Day 1: Airport – Jerusalem - Mount of Olives

      Welcome to Israel!
      Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.
      Welcome by a representative of WeRIsrael and transfer to Jerusalem.
      Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Take part in the opening prayers at the Church of the Ascension and then visit the beautiful church of Mary Magdalene.
      Drive to the Tomb of the Virgin Mary. It is from this site that the holy body of Virgin Mary was taken into heaven by her son and God.
      Visit the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Agony at Gethsemane. Continue to Mt. Zion to visit the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb. Finish the day with a traditional Israeli dinner in the center of the city.
      Overnight: Jerusalem

      Day 2: Old City of Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Ein Karem

      Visit the St. Anne's Church (birthplace of Theotokos). Within its grounds are the Pools of Bethesda that are located near the Sheep Gate where the Lord cured the paralytic.

      Walk through the Old City and visit the Church of St. Alexander Nevsky.
      Continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher - the site of the Savior’s death and resurrection. This is the most important church for Christians!
      Walk through the Jewish Quarter to see the Western Wall and the Cardo Maximus, a Roman street.
      Walk through the Oriental bazaar and buy your family a souvenir from the Holy Land!
      Drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity and the Shepherds Fields Chapel.
      See the Monastery and Church of the Prophet Elias and enter the Russian Orthodox Church in the beautiful Ein Karem village. Finish the day with a nice evening walk and dinner at Ein Karem.
      Overnight: Jerusalem

      Orthodox Group Tours to Israel - Massada

      Day 3: St George - Jericho - Qaser al yahud - Dead Sea - Masada

      Drive east and start the day at an amazing lookout over St George’s Monastery in the Judean Desert.
      Arrive in Jericho and climb the Mount of Sarantarion (The Mount of Temptation).
      Take a cable car up to the Mount. It was on this mountain that the Lord was tempted by the devil and fasted for forty days and forty nights.
      Arrive at Qasr Al Yahud baptismal site and take part in a baptism ceremony.
      Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to the Masada Fortress: Ascend and descend by cable car, take a walking tour of the fortress, and learn why the site became a symbol of Jewish heroism.
      Experience floating on the Dead Sea and cover yourself with healthy mud at the lowest place on earth!
      Overnight: Ein Boqeq, Dead Sea

      Orthodox Group Tours to Israel - Tabgha

      Day 4: Sea of Galilee - Tiberias

      After a morning float on the Dead Sea, we will head north and get to Deir Hajla to visit the Monastery of St Gerasimus, one of the oldest 70-plus monasteries in the Judean desert.
      We will continue along the Jordan Valley to the Sea of Galilee.
      Visit the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles, the place to which Jesus called his first disciples. We will have a good fish lunch and enjoy the peaceful setting of this beautiful lake. Continue to Capernaum, the main area where Jesus visited the Galilee.
      Visit Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of bread and fish and see the outstanding Byzantine mosaic floor of the Church of Multiplications and the Mensa Christi Church. Climb the Mount of Beatitudes to recall the Sermon on the Mount.
      Finish the day with a boat ride at sunset, on a boat resembling an ancient boat.

      Overnight: Tiberias

      Orthodox Group Tours to Israel - Nazareth

      Day 5: Cana - Nazareth - Tabor

      Start the day with a visit to the Church of the Transfiguration on Mt. Tabor.
      According to Christian tradition, this is the traditional site of the Transfiguration.
      Continue on to Cana (Wedding Church) where Jesus performed his first miracle.
      Drive to Nazareth. Walk around the city and visit the local market and have a Mediterranean lunch. Visit Virgin Mary’s Well where the angel Gabriel announced the good news to Mary that she would give birth to Jesus Christ. The Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation is built on this site.
      Overnight: Nazareth

      Orthodox Group Tours to Israel - Jaffa

      Day 6: Caesarea – Jaffa - Tel Aviv

      Before we leave Nazareth, we will climb Mount Precipice, the traditional site of the cliff that an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus off. The site offers a panoramic view of the patchwork Jezreel Valley.
      Drive to Caesarea. See the remains of the once magnificent port built by Herod the Great as well as the ancient theater and the hippodrome. See the site where Paul appeared before Festus and King Agrippa before he was sent to Rome.
      In the afternoon, we will reach Jaffa.
      Visit Old Jaffa with its ancient port as well as the traditional house of Simon the Tanner where Peter had a vision.
      Walk through the ancient streets of Jaffa and check out the small artists shops and studios.
      Take an afternoon walk in Tel Aviv. Get to know the fascinating history of the city while walking in the picturesque streets of the Neve Tzedek neighborhood, the first Jewish neighborhood built outside the walls of Jaffa.
      Overnight: Tel Aviv

      Orthodox Group Tours to Israel  - Flight Back

      Day 7: Lod - Airport

      Just before leaving, visit the Church and Tomb of St. George in Lod.
      Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv for your return flight .
